The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has given telecommunications operators (MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9Mobile and others) in the country two weeks to block all SIM cards that are not registered with the National Identity Numbers (NIN).
With the present pandemic and the festive season approaching, it would be impossible for all citizens to accomplish the task so the exercise should be cancelled

I’m signing because I’m not in support of the registration of sim card with the NIN
It’s very crowded at the Registration centers and very unsafe for my health
Because it’s not cool
It the right thing to do
It affects me
During early this year I went to NIN because I want to open bank account and tell me I need NIN,I want there for almost two months,we always wait outside in the very hot sun, we always went there early in the morning or else, later I got my NIN with #500 fee but not original they tell me I should come back some month later,I went back and every time time They tell me to come back,I get upset till now I didn’t have original NIN
I find it unfair for the government to block its citizens sim card in a short space of two weeks considering the fact that people are still recovering from a pandemic and are hustling financially for the coming festive period
It’s not easy for me to get the NIN
It is ridiculous and I don’t have a nin plus the government don’t have any right to block my sim
We need better governance.
